Purchase Options Cancellation Policy

Last updated: 26 July 2026

This Purchase Options Cancellation Policy applies to recurring subscriptions purchased through the GROLA online store.

By selecting a subscription purchase option, you confirm that you have read and accepted this policy, including the minimum two-order commitment described below.

1. How GROLA subscriptions work

When you purchase a product using a subscription option, you agree to receive recurring deliveries at the frequency selected on the product page or during checkout.

Your selected payment method will be charged automatically for each subscription order. The subscription will continue until it is cancelled in accordance with this policy.

One-time purchases are not subscriptions and are instead governed by our general Terms of Service and Return and Refund Policy.

2. Minimum two-order commitment

Every GROLA subscription has a minimum commitment of two subscription orders:

  1. the initial subscription order placed at checkout; and

  2. the first automatically recurring subscription order.

By starting a subscription, you agree to purchase and pay for both required orders.

A subscription cannot be cancelled before the second subscription order has been successfully charged and processed.

After the second subscription order has been processed, you may cancel the subscription before the next scheduled billing date.

3. Subscription price and discount

The subscription price and any applicable subscription discount will be displayed before checkout.

A subscription discount applies only while the subscription remains active and subject to the conditions communicated at the time of purchase.

Promotional discounts may apply only to the initial order unless expressly stated otherwise.

Any applicable shipping charges will be displayed during checkout or communicated as part of the subscription purchase.

4. Automatic recurring payments

By starting a subscription, you authorise GROLA and its payment service providers to charge your selected payment method automatically for each scheduled subscription order.

You are responsible for keeping your payment details, delivery address, telephone number and other account information accurate and up to date.

The second subscription order will be charged automatically according to the delivery frequency selected when the subscription was created.

5. Managing your subscription

Depending on the options available through your customer account, you may be able to:

  • update your payment information;

  • update your delivery address;

  • change the selected product or quantity;

  • change the delivery frequency;

  • change the next delivery date;

  • pause or skip an eligible future delivery; or

  • cancel the subscription after completing the minimum commitment.

Requested changes must be submitted before the applicable subscription-management deadline and before the next order has been charged or entered processing.

We cannot guarantee that changes requested after payment has been processed can be applied to the relevant order.

6. Skipping or pausing during the minimum commitment

The initial order and the first recurring order form part of the minimum two-order commitment.

These two required orders cannot be cancelled or skipped.

Where our subscription system allows it, you may request a reasonable change to the scheduled processing or delivery date. Changing the date does not remove the obligation to complete the second required order.

After the minimum two-order commitment has been completed, eligible future deliveries may be paused or skipped through your subscription account.

7. Cancelling your subscription

After the second subscription order has been successfully charged and processed, you may cancel your subscription:

  • through the subscription-management section of your customer account; or if failed

  • by emailing info@grola.lt.

Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next scheduled billing date.

Once the cancellation has taken effect, no further recurring orders will be created or charged.

There is no separate cancellation fee after the minimum two-order commitment has been completed.

8. Cancellation requests submitted early

You may submit a cancellation request before the second subscription order has been processed.

However, because the subscription includes a minimum two-order commitment, an early cancellation request will become effective only after:

  1. the second required subscription order has been successfully charged; and

  2. that order has entered processing.

After that order has been processed, the subscription will end and no third or subsequent subscription order will be created.

9. Orders already charged or processed

Cancelling a subscription stops eligible future renewals. It does not automatically cancel an order that has already been:

  • charged;

  • confirmed;

  • prepared;

  • packed;

  • handed to the delivery provider; or

  • otherwise entered fulfilment.

Where reasonably possible, we may try to cancel an order that has been charged but has not yet entered fulfilment. Cancellation cannot be guaranteed.

Orders that have already been dispatched are handled under our Return and Refund Policy.

10. Failed payments

If a recurring payment is unsuccessful, GROLA or its payment service provider may attempt to process the payment again.

We may contact you and ask you to update your payment details.

A failed payment does not automatically cancel the minimum two-order commitment. If the second required payment fails, the subscription may remain active while reasonable payment attempts are made.

We may suspend or cancel a subscription where payment cannot be collected after reasonable attempts.

11. Product availability

All subscription orders are subject to product availability.

If a subscribed product is unavailable, we may:

  • delay the affected order;

  • contact you to offer an alternative;

  • skip the affected delivery;

  • refund the unavailable product; or

  • cancel the subscription.

We will not replace a subscribed product with a materially different product without your agreement.

12. Returns, refunds and product concerns

Cancelling a subscription is separate from requesting a return or refund for an individual order.

Returns and refunds are handled under our Return and Refund Policy and applicable consumer law.

Opened or unsealed food products may not be eligible for return where they are unsuitable for return for health-protection or hygiene reasons. This does not affect your rights where a product is damaged, defective, unsafe, incorrect or otherwise does not conform to the contract.

If you receive a damaged, defective or incorrect product, contact info@grola.lt and include your order number, an explanation of the issue and clear photographs where relevant.

13. Statutory consumer rights

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or replaces any mandatory rights available to consumers under Lithuanian or European Union law.

The minimum subscription commitment applies to the contractual cancellation of future recurring subscription orders. It does not remove any statutory rights that cannot legally be waived, including rights relating to defective, damaged, unsafe or non-conforming products.

14. Cancellation by GROLA

GROLA may suspend or cancel a subscription where:

  • a subscribed product is no longer available;

  • payment cannot be collected;

  • delivery details are incomplete or invalid;

  • fraudulent or abusive activity is reasonably suspected;

  • an obvious pricing or technical error has occurred;

  • the subscription service is discontinued; or

  • fulfilment is prevented by circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If GROLA cancels an order after payment has been collected and the product will not be supplied, the applicable payment will be refunded to the original payment method.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy to reflect changes to our subscription service, operational practices or applicable legal requirements.

Where a material change affects an active subscription, we will provide notice where required by applicable law.

Changes will not remove rights already acquired in relation to an order placed before the updated policy became effective.
